Ice-cream scrapping

We actually had quite a HOT day today, which is really strange after yesterday's weather, it truly has seemed like one day Summer land and the next Winter land!! I'm hoping in there somewhere we will see some warmer days that will last more than one!!!

So with the sunshine today and the fact that EVERY Friday night we celebrate Friday Family FUn day with homemade Pizza and ice-cream I wanted to share this scrapbook page I made for Zeke's 10th album!
It's all about Ice-cream..... Cold Rock in fact!!! YUMMY!!!!! It's his absolute favourite so it was a must to include in his special birthday album!

I've been playing lots with vellum lately, here I've made a speech bubble and a little pocket to put the journalling in :)
I really like how it came together with the "old" school looking ice-cream shop front theme! What do you think?? I'm hoping to do some more scrapping soon, especially with all the wonderful sketches out there at the moment, you should check out my dear friends Kim's blog... she's been making lots of time to join in on the sketch fun!!!! LOVE what she's doing at the moment!! (Hi Kim!!!)
Have a fabulous weekend,

Amazing Elephant {male card}

After my super crafty friend KIM showed me this new colour in on vellum technique I've been doing it to LOTS Of my cards!! OF course (sure I'm not the only one who runs with a new tech when shown!!!) And so I wanted to make a male card and use some of the very cool Autumn DSP in the current Mini. Here is what I came up with!

I'm sooo happy with how they turn out, they really have such a fabbo look about them! Do give this a go, I'm sure you'll love it too!

Perfectly Rustics challenge #11

It's been super fun coming up with this weeks sketch at Perfectly Rustics! I took it from one of my favourite cards I made a few years ago and so set the Challenge to the other design team members to create their own masterpieces with it!! I have been wanting to try a new technique with vellum and colouring the picture in on the opposite side.... when you flip it over it looks really cool!! (sorry i'm sure there is a much better way of explaning this but you're going to have to try and understand me..........ummmmm)
Well you stamp the image on vellum in stazon then flip it over and colour in markers, then flip it back and it looks, well REALLY COOL!!!

Check out the other designs at Perfectly Rustics!! Be super to have you play along with us!

Stamped Pants!

 At my family homeschooling blog we have just taken part in the Virtual Book club. This month the Author is Nick Sharratt! He has written many wonderful books and illustrated heaps too and one of our favourites is the Pants or More Pants books!!
I made this craft with my treasures (see HERE) and of course felt the need to make my own special undies too! So with my favourite colours (Calypso Coral and Crushed Curry) and some fav stamps I got to work on my exclusive underwear design!!
I've made them fun yet comfy with a touch of pretty and lace (every girl loves a bit of lace Right??!!) I  Even popped on an added tag! It was sooo cool and the children came up with some beauties too!!

Whatever you get up to today I hope it's FUN!!
